Just watching the Leeds game on sky and now their team looks now. Also noted that many Southampton and Leicester players have moved on.

If we'd have gone down, and we were playing in the championship tonight, what would our team look like?

Other than onana I can't see big money bids coming in for our players, unlike Leeds, Leicester and Southampton have had. Which is strange really considering we stayed up and they never.

Think we'd have been keeping the likes of Simms and Cannon around. Leeds (not sure about the other two) had lots of relegation clauses in their contracts so it depends if we do with ours.

We'd have tried to sign Che Adams. Oh wait...

We would have been panic fire-selling every single first team player due to their fat contracts, then playing pretty much the same 11 we did Saturday because nobody wants to pay our players what we do.
EFL would probably deduct points at some point due to losing money hand over fist and we'd be in the third tier by 2025.

I have watched a bit of the championship this season with interest. I think we would have been in massive trouble if we had gone down. Harder to get promoted in the Championship than survive in the PL. we have big earners that we would not have been able to shift that I suspect did not have relegation salary cut clauses. If we were to go down this season I think we would be better placed to rebuild in the championship although it would still be a disaster

Yes, like it has for some clubs. However, we have too many issues and we'd more likely end up in League One than back in the Premier League.
