Reid, Southall and Bailey. Love to chat about that 84-85 team. Saw Everton play an exhibition game in Toronto the summer after the Heysel tragedy and Bailey, in particular, was very engaging with Everton fans.

Doucoure.

What really happened between him and Lampard?

How many drinks/gifts has he received after the heroics on the final day?

Can he get me some Elton John tickets.....

Edit: Muslim so diet coke or Ribena will have to do!

Crown in Birkdale and The Conservatory in town most Saturday evenings, happy days.

Also played Gary Lineker once in Diamonds Snooker Hall owned by Les Dodds was in with Tricky and Lawrenson. Got to table 3 times, one of those was the break lol. He was very humble, I was like an open mouthed fan boy lol.
Me too mate,do you remember Venison, long blonde hair and a Rupert the bear suit😂😂😂,mate of mine used to work the door at the Conservatory, then he’d go over the kingsway,we’d go over and get in free!!!les Dodd has his own place off east bank street these days,in fact about 18 months ago we were in there and Stephen Hendry was on the next table😳felt a bit inadequate!!!Happy days😀

Yes, hahaha, had wiped Venison from my mind but the Rupert kecks brought it all back haha

Yes, many happy nights in Conservatory then Kingsway.

I had a game with me old man in Dodds place few months, his tables are top notch. He is cue man for a good few of the pros apparently, a misspent youth in his place lol.

When you see a true master like Hendry, defo makes you look at your cue and think "why do I bother"🤣

Local pros here in Northants are Rory and Harvey who has dropped off the pro tour to do China.

We must have crossed paths back in the day Dario.

Bob Latchford . My god when I was a kid.

In fact, I did happen to have a couple of drinks with him when he did his book signing around 2005. He was in the old Marquee behind the Park End stand. I went in to get a book just before the kick off. He signed my book then he sat down in front of the big screen to watch the game (Why no ticket for a legend?) I asked him if I could watch it with him and he told me to pull up a chair. My seat in the ground stayed empty that day. I had coffee, he had juice. They say never meet your idols as they will disappoint you ... Well, he never. Lovely guy

Met Duncan in bar in Majorca years back. There were 4 of us (two couples) and he bought us a drink and sat with us for a while. Nice guy. He really does love Everton.

Of the players now ... Pickford, he just looks a real laugh.

Tommy Gravesen, wild

would be fun early doors then the next minute he’s literally shoving a bottle of tequila down your throat, getting you in a headlock and frisbeeing beer mats at girls and asking them to dance for him. at least he’d pay for the bugle la
