IT'S ON !!!!!

I've had an e-mail back from the club to say that a Food Donation exercise will be almost certainly be confirmed for the Boxing Day game against Stoke... watch this space, and if/when it's confirmed, let's make it a very Merry Blue Christmas/New Year for those who need it !!!
Awesome work. It's people like you who go out and try to do something positive that really makes a difference.
I hope the Christmas fairy is kind to you.

Oh man I just broke down big time.

I hate people who say 'they should just go and get a job' it's not that easy, for some people it is, I know plenty of people who are fortunate enough to have family/friends who can give them a job and that is really damn lucky, it's not the same for everyone, EVERY person is in a different situation and everyone needs help with things. They do. And to want to not help is so beyond heartless, it's so unhuman to want to leave people to struggle.

Things happen to people and there's nothing they can do to stop it, and not every one can deal with things so easily, especially if they have no family support and such.

Rant over.

A lot are folk that ARE IN WORK as well H, paid a pittance and unable to make ends meet, in fact I think it's
been shown that the number of 'working poor' is greater than the unemployed.

Some Folk just refuse to accept that though, and it's a fair assumption to say that those folk are of certain political persuasions, in a time when it's as difficult to find work as it's ever been it seems that the solution for the 'working poor' is that they take on a 2nd job.
