Is it possible to ignore a thread without ignoring the person who started it? Seems that's the only way presently.

nice one, it would help when the World Cup is on, or a political thread etcIt's important we do saddle the forum with too many add ons - I'm not convinced this one would be particularly useful?
I'll have a look over the weekend on implications of adding it.
Is that like a forum for mods? There's an add-on to do this, but not enough people have bought mugs so I doubt @GrandOldTeam has bought it.

Hi mate, haven't seen you for a while, how's honkers these days ???
who've you got on ignore ???
Hi mate, for me life goes on, we don't have much choice really. I am sure the value and justice are slowly changing. 2047 and we kiss goodbye to our remaining freedom and system (maybe even earlier, depends on future legislation). You see the mainlanders (I know ethnically we are the same people) are really affecting our daily life due to the massive gap in cultural differences. I can tell you more if you don't mind.
I ignore those who play the online bullying card here. You know the Ramaden thing (about Kone)? I did not bother to look the term up last summer and quoted someone's joke as a reference then the online bullying started until recently. This stopped because I put them in the ignore list. Maybe they think that is funny, taking the mickey out of a foreigner. Or maybe I was wrong on Martinez and that get on their nerves. Forgive my poor English because I rarely write and speak English these days. My English is getting worse and worse. And our next generation might not even need to learn much English.
