The move looked wrong right from the start to me mate, I think they only signed him as a cash cow if I’m honest, he was free, grew up their, was a dream to play for them, easy money for them, if it wasn’t for that I don’t think they would ever have been in for him, don’t think they ever really had a plan for him beyond cashing in and here we are.

Certainly seemed like one or two managers didn’t warm to him or fit him in ideally, which would suggest the above and that he was a board cash cow.

Doucoure has been a really important player for us but his poor technical ability at times has massively limited us going forward.

Personally I would like to see someone who can make a forward pass. Is Ndiaye creative or more of a "threat arriving late" type of player?

Thing is with the state of our attack in general 10 goals from midfield would be life-changing for us if he can manage it.

Think you're probably right, but even if this is the case it's an improvement that we're getting our incomings done ahead of time.

Makes a change from the desperate deadline days we've become accustomed to. If this is an early indication of how things will be done under Freidkin it's a good sign.
