That’s a good point. Pienaar flopped badly at Dortmund and wasn’t popular apparently with the other players there and was ostracised. Arteta likewise at Sociedad, they were more than happy to move him on. With all the will in the world, some moves just don’t work out. The only thing we DO know, is that he’s proven to take a liking to English football albeit in a lower league. Let’s see what he can do and judge him on his time here IF he signs.

Must have bought him with the #10 position in mind, strikes me as succession planning for Doucs. Similar attributes in that they’re both hardworking and strong, but N’Diaye clearly has better technique and passing. Incredible scenes seeing us splash actual cash pre PSR deadline, we must have another sale up our sleeve.
