For every good signing for us at that range I bet I can give you 10 disappointing ones. Not all signings in that price range are a disappointment
All Evertons are...Not all signings in that price range are a disappointment
They aren'tAll Evertons are...
I agree that some are disappointing but not allFor every good signing for us at that range I bet I can give you 10 disappointing ones.
It’s that sweet spot where you think they should be good, but end up having to watch them leave for less to get them off the wage bill.
MostI agree that some are disappointing but not all
You could add more by naming the players that arent disapointing. I’m strugglingI agree that some are disappointing but not all
Just from the top of my headYou could add more by naming the players that arent disapointing. I’m struggling
Only one of those in your list were in the £20m rangeJust from the top of my head
Branthwaite
Lukaku, though he was £28m so not that far off
Tarkowski
Garner (yet to have proven, but still I think he's not been bad value)
There are decent players out there who we can get in that price range, just comes down to decent scouting
28m is in the 20 rangeOnly one of those in your list were in the £20m range
I didn’t add to any logic within the discussion just making a point that the previous poster had referred to the success of £20m range, which actually infers well below these actually have been successful.. not less so.. anyway not my debate.28m is in the 20 range
Branthwaite was lower, so by your logic, he should be absolutely awful
Sounds like it was a ruff club anyway mate. When Keith Lard carried out a fire safety risk assessment on the Phoenix Club, he shut it down. I'd call that a fail.
We've just made loads of disappointing signings in every price bracket recently though so that doesn't mean anything! Other clubs make good signings in that range so its not the price that matters its the scouting and decision making. For every good signing for us at that range I bet I can give you 10 disappointing ones.
