2024/25 Iliman Ndiaye

He’s my favourite player along with Jarrad. He may not be the absolute best, but boy is he fun to watch. He makes me excited again to see what he does each time with the ball.

He’s very talented, but I don’t think he walks into the next 5 sides above us, let alone any higher than that. Most of those teams have a couple who are on his level/better, and usually natural wide players too.

He’s clearly not match fit and looked to be less confident with the ball today. Still had some moments. I’d love us to have someone like Kerkez behind him (even with Mykos improvement) as it’d give him so much space.

He gets in city team ahead of doku, silvihno and grealish imo

Probably in forests team over Hudson and elanga

Is similar to Mitoma of Brighton

Would get in spurs team

I think he would give trossard a run for his money

I’d rather have him than Diaz too

Gets in Man U team easily

Better than iwobi so gets into fulham

And id say he’d get into Brentford , palace , westham too

Doku hasn’t scored many

I promise you every other fan will say the same about Ndiaye. He’s a decent player mate, most teams have a couple on his level.

It’s not like Moyes’ first stint when Pienaar/Arteta/Jags/Baines/Coleman etc. would get in most sides other than the top 4/5. Our standout players are standing out largely because we’ve been so starved of any kind of talent.

Diaz has scored 11 league goals this season. (And there is a reason he plays for the best team in the country)

If N’Diaye was that good then City, Arsenal and Liverpool would be putting bids in for him. They won’t.

Fantastic when he has the ball at his feet. He’s just hardly ever in the game though. Whether that’s the players around him I don’t know.

I thought I liked Dnaiye but you’ve got him on another level.

Yeah … the original post was that “ he wouldn’t get into many teams above us”

I think he would as they already have players at his level … so if he was on their squad he would probably get in their team too

Diaz has 11 Prem goals. N’Diaye has 7 with 2 of them penalties. (Also 5 assists to nil)

I like N’Diaye but he’s not an elite level player (at the minute).

He’s not at the level of some of those mate, look at Doku at the weekend. He’s streets ahead currently.

Ndiaye is a good player, lots of teams have a few of them out wide. He stands out for us because we are abysmal.

I’m mixed on Doku. He’s got a lot of razzle dazzle trying to juke the defender. But he’s a bit predictable always driving down deep in the left corner and causing himself to get into trouble and isolated. And I don’t see him as a strong finisher. He’s only sitting on three goals. Ndiaye made himself shine under Dyche and a system that didn’t encourage a lot of attack.
