So full of confidence for someone coming off a disappointing move and season. Finally some real bravery with the ball.

You don’t feel the fatigue the same when you have outplayed everyone on the pitch. Dyche said in every interview he felt he was ready to start, he’d kept himself super fit over the summer. But then hooked him saying he was fatigued.

Lesson learned. Lesson will be ignored.

Kind of player we haven’t had since Pienaar and Arteta being able to hold the ball, win a foul and drive us up the pitch with a bit of craft. Will get better too as you could see as the game went on how his confidence went up.
