I'm sure it's been said before in this thread, but he reminds me so much of Steven Pienaar. Deceptively strong for someone of his size, and his ability to receive the ball under pressure and beat his man/win a free kick to take the pressure off/give us time to progress up the pitch is invaluable to a side like ours who tend to sit so deep.
It becomes more apparent when you watch his highlight reel: when receiving the ball with his back to goal/on the half turn you can see him waiting for the opponent to get too tight to him, then a quick jink and he's gone.
