Imaginative solutions using our players

If we line all 11 players on the goal line, then it would be very difficult for the opposition to score past them. This would ensure 18 draws from the remaining 18 games, giving us a final points total of 33 points, which may just be enough for us to survive.

Does anyone have any imaginative / crazy left field ideas for how we can use our existing players to score goals and get results? Have you seen any other clubs that have done imaginative things with their limited resources?

Lump it up to Keane and Mina up front? Doucs in a more advanced Fellaini style role? Vinagre and Patto as wingers?

No need for 'imaginative/crazy left-field ideas' really. It's a myth that our players are all crap and incapable of winning games, they just need to get back to playing simple, down-to-earth, basic football. Pass the ball to a player wearing the same colour shirt as you, find space for yourself to give your teammate a passing option, if you get into trouble at the back... launch the ball away from danger instead of trying to play or pass your way out of trouble, get the ball upfield as quickly and efficiently as possible, get the ball into the attacking players, if a shooting opportunity opens up for you... take it, if there is someone in a better position than you... pass to them, move up and down as a unit helping one another out as a team in defence, midfield, and attack.

Mind you, I've not played football since the 80s, so things may have changed a little since then :D
