i've traveled to the US and asia and when i say i'm from liverpool the popular reply is ' liverpool?- the beatles!'

others who have traveled will have no doubt encountered similiar experiences.

i'm proud to say i'm from liverpool and i'm proud when a 60 year old south korean man in broken english tries to tell me he loves the beatles.

and it's not just the old. i'm a high school teacher and the first lesson with a new class i let them all know i'm from liverpool and a funny ice breaker is breaking in to song - usually 'yesterday' which they all know. the students love this and all join in. thanks john!

What criticsm? Seems that ever since his divorce from Heather Mills its been her that recieved all the press criticism, i honestly dont recall reading anything bad about McCartney in the press.

try this on for size, she has been living off his legacy since he died, and was parasite-like whilst he lived - if it was later revealed there was a link between her and chapman at the time i could easily believe it (especially if it turns out he was becoming bored with her)
