Indian food for its lack of lead.:dodgy:

Just kidding:P :D (y)
Seriously though while i haven't tried all that much chinese food, I love indian food so indian for me.

beef vindaloo

i know its not true indian but vindaloo with naan and rice is amazing. Lamb is also good and tandoori chicken is nice.

well i'll be condemned.

i have been talking curries with blues for some time and have yet to encounter a fellow after my own heart regards food - specifically curries.

i am a chicken/lamb tikka vindaloo with pilau rice and a garlic naan. copious amounts of lager to garnish.

have you ever tried phall?

have you ever tried 'scotch bonnet' chillis?

extra garlic everywhere... heaven.

For both palates the main problem is the actual quality of the cooking, it can vary so much especially with Chinese, their milder taste makes it harder to hide mistakes. With Indian I always look for smoothness, no harsh spices, everything should be cooked into the dish. Even the hottest curry should be basically smooth to taste. Slap dash cooking, last minute additions, can be spotted a mile away and always spoil the food.

>10 Stellas = curry
<10 Stellas = chinese

although if we are talking a proper sit down in chinatown on a sunday avvy with the trollies full of steaming Dim Dum going past then no contest.

Could eat my own weight in Shu Mai and Har Kau.

Indian I like a Karahi with a Taarkha Dhaal so no-one goes with twenty foot of you the next day due to excessive garlic pong.

And stuffed paratha and Shaami Kebab (the best Shaamis come surrounded by egg and yoghurt sauce. mmmmmm)
