"Infraction"

To whom it may concern.

Just so I know whether it is worth the hassle of posting on GOT again, is this "infraction" I received (how one "receives an infraction" would baffle my English teacher) for exposing that Damon fellow as being a liar and a troll or is it for calling him a "tosser".

The latter I can understand and will comply with.

The former would see me question the sense of posting on a board where such a chap is given free rein to insult all and sundry.

Thank you.

Can I be a mod, i've already got the uniform...

The problem with the "wee hours" is that you miss all the good stuff when the haymakers are being thrown and show up only after the car crash has happened and the ambulance has taken the participants to the hospital.

All that's left for me to do is take pictures of the chalk outlines on the pavement.

Wake up earlier then ;)

To be honest, calling someone a t7896r is just a variation of calling someone a snide or a blert - the intent is the same, so they all serve the same purpose.

It's all about "drawing the line" I guess, but I for one would like to see those two words cut down on. The people who use those word in public often leave reputation with very, very vicious language, for example.

The vast majority of moderation is unseen. It's not a case of effort on the moderators part - we've been fine the past four years...

Though I am aware we'd benefit from more moderators, I made the point the other day but "get more mods" is easier said than done. Its made more difficult by the current abyss they'd be thrown in. Added to the lack of community support (or, collective resistance) and level of pettiness as Neiler witnessed recently.

The problem is the community. Enforcement shouldn't precede over common sense.

Fair enough, and quite super last line to conclude with. I'm stealing that.

Pissing myself here. We need some more Texans to mod, you're like some f*cked up sheriff.

For what it's worth, I reckon Lao-lid would make a fine mod.
