I think if it would have been possible for Oviedo to make the World Cup then I'm sure that they would have delayed the operation to remove the pin from his leg (which is why he was sidelined again). I agree that he was just being positive for his sake though.Tbf he doesn't on some players eg Pienaar or Gibson but think that is more the nature of their injuries make it hard to predict and doubt he wants to put added pressure on them.
Some he flat out lies, there was no way Oviedo was going to make the World Cup but not sure I could have broken his little heart either by giving him the bad news before really had to.
He doesn't have to tell us how long players are out for does he?
Most other managers are the same, Ferguson was particularly bad iirc.I think if it would have been possible for Oviedo to make the World Cup then I'm sure that they would have delayed the operation to remove the pin from his leg (which is why he was sidelined again). I do think some people on here are forgetting how little information we uses to get out of the club pre Martinez though.
No Ijjy, he does not. But did he not way back talk about keeping the fans informed about the club and players.
I'm fairly sure he's a massive liar mate. But for the right reasons.
He stands for more transparency on our injuries situation. What does RETNUB stand for?
If he has then we urgently need another signing to play wide left and replicate the old, massively successful, Baines-Pienaar axis.I no longer worry about Pienaar, he's had it.
Oviedo can do a job there !If he has then we urgently need another signing to play wide left and replicate the old, massively successful, Baines-Pienaar axis.
Oviedo can do a job there !
