The feller's a laughing stock, a complete laughing stock.

He's ****ed Mourinho's team up and is barking if he thinks a win over some Third World outfit is going to cover the mess up.

Moratti will have him down the road with his foot up his arse any day now, and the pay off will be worth it when/if they get a top class manager in to keep Inter at the top. Next stop for the FSW? I'm guessing Sevilla or Atletico - if the owners are desperate enough.

Bloody hell. Going against the board there, too. Has he got the fans on his side this time, though ?

They have gone from winning Serie A four years on the bounce (and winning everything last season) to 13 points off the top of the league (whats worse is that its AC who are top), a horrendous injury run that even Moratti thinks is down to Benitez's training methods, and finishing second to Spurs in their CL group. Oh, and Benitez's transfer targets include Glen Johnson.

Haha the waiter sayin for them to win anything he needs to buy 4 or 5 players in january haha sound familiar?

The chairman has told him to **** off too after lookin at his liverpool buys hehe

Hell be back at the rs next summer

Henry and Werner would never allow that feller within a mile of Anfield. The only people who'll employ him now are chairman of mid-table Spanish/Italian/Portuguese clubs who cant live without conflict in their lives and are just as daft as he is. He'll never get another crack at a truly top European outfit.

I would agree, except for the fact that you just know that if Rafael becomes available then there will be a sizeable number of that lot who will demand, in their own unique style, his return - especially if Woy's reign continues to bimble along in the way it has done thus far.

If Yanks II turn them down, it will be the first stick that they beat them (and whichever non-Rafael manager replaces Woy) with when they fail to win things / qualify for the CL / hang on to "Nando" / spend millions on "getting them back to where they deserve", etc etc.

Cant see it myself. That lot think in terms of Rijkaard and Deschamps...as if they'd dirty their hands on Liverpool without an Arab spending money like a drunken sailor. There's the usual Rafatollah rent a crowd who never went away, but the majority would be horrified at Benitez winding up back at Anfield. Even Kopites are not that stupid.

Maybe, though dont forget Rijkaard's managerial performance isnt that great, he has done nothing most places he has been at and even his time at Barcelona saw - in his last season - some of the most inept performances from that lot I can ever remember (the pasillo game at Real being the worst), and by the end he had lost control of many of the players (Eto'o, Deco and Ronaldinho especially). Admittedly what has happened since might have coloured my thinking, though.
