International breaks and the winter break

Instead of stopping the League for almost a month just after its started, why dont they just have a the international break just after the FA cup in freaking January.

I realise replays would be an issue, but this stop start at the start of a season currently helps nobody.

Thoughts?

Eh? A dozen plus qualis after a full season? Ok.

I couldn't be less arsed about international football.

A winter break would be utter shabite.

I'd scrap euros qualifiers. What's the point? It's dead easy to qualify.

Then spread the qualifiers over the free summers between each WC. 2 blocks of 5 games.

You basically only need 2 three week blocks.

And rugby players play a series of games after every summer. In fact some could play around 10 this summer given its a Lions tour year. So no reason footballers can't play 4 or 5.

I think playing at the end of seasons, in blocks, makes sense.

I never get this"lets have a winter break" either thing that will help England etc,how will a break 6 odd months before the world cup etc kicks off help England-nothing helps England and the winter break/international break bores people to death,plus what happens if the winter break ends,then we have snow,you have the games your trying to catch up on meaning no break helped as your playing catch up,plus you have the teams on a break going to foreign places to play games anyway to make money,they are pointless,Just ban international footy,i and some couldnt care less about it,

How about we just get rid of international football completely? It's a load of rubbish.

Or play a 128 team World Cup straight knockout tournament every 4 years - give guaranteed spots to 64 countries who are actually good at football and the jarg other countries can fight each other with sticks to figure out who gets the other spots

'They' / FIFA, would be better served getting AFCON to fall in with the rest of the footballing world and play every 4 years same time as the Euros

International football is pish. There's no need to have so many weekends cancelled for this tripe. Play international games midweek as they do for Champions League etc. I'm sure the poor mites will manage three games in one week.

But a few European leagues have Winter Breaks and im pretty sure England play in European qualifiers?
