Introducing The Youth

I've seen a lot of highlights, is he really that much worse than Seamus on the wing?

I will tell you as I see it. He has touches of brilliance.. absolute brilliance.. and then two seconds later, he can have a shocker..
Now, how you go about managing that is far beyond the likes of us internet cowboys..
But, there is defo something there..

Hopefully we'll see the likes of Stones, Duffy and Barkley.
And when I say Barkley, an actual run in the team.
Problem is with the return of Coleman, I don't see any games coming up that would warrant a starting place for Stones (in Moyes's eyes anyway.)
Maybe Reading at home could be a good shout, and if we put in a decent performance against Oldham next week and we're well in front we could introduce Stones for his debut. Barkley suits that sort of game, very physical.

Stones is cup tied. Game vs Oldham isn't an option

The way I see it with Barkley is that yes he's quite possibly too much of a risk currently to be thrown in the CM posistion that ossie currently holds, his inexperience and weakness could really cost us points in the real business end of the season. However I see No reason why he could not be introduced from the bench in the No.10 role with fellaini dropping back.

Lets face it, we're hardly breaking through tough defensive teams currently, especially when they decide to man mark fellaini.

Barkley will get more chances next season after we sell Fellaini in the summer.

I'm normally fine with Moyes' caution with our young players, he doesn't seem to get it wrong very often. However, a promising season is in danger of fizzling out as it all seems a bit stale at the moment.

An exciting Coleman-versus-Spurs-2009 style cameo from a youngster would lift the mood around the place no end. If we're struggling to put Norwich away at the weekend it'd be great to see Kennedy given 15 minutes against some tired legs.

Agreed. Naismith has had enough chances to make a difference off the bench and he offers very little. An eager youngster with a bit of skill could make a big impact late in a game.
