Anyone else with an iPhone finding that since updating to ios7 that if you're not active on the forum for a period of time it's automatically logging you out? I am ticking the "remember me" box, and it's not on private browsing and none of my other settings have changed.

I've tried turning it off-and-on-again, and sawdust did nothing but cover it in sawdust.

Anyone else having this problem or had it and resolved it?

The weirdest thing happened on my Samsung though, I signed in and clicked remember me, I then had to go off and do a few things, came back about half an hour later and was still signed in, it's like magic or something.

I am not experiencing this problem, however I will bring it to the attention of the site owner.

Just to be sure, even if you have already done this can all who are experiencing this problem please;

1/ log out
2/ switch device off and back on
3/ log on and tick 'remember me'
4/ report back here if problem remains

Thanks, we'll take it from that point onwards.

Cheers Groucho

I have followed these steps, so will leave it dormant for an hour or so (that seems to be he timeframe that it happens over) and them see what happens

Right, I've definitely figured out one cause of it, and that's flicking the Safari app shut. Once you do this then reopen it you are logged out.

Will leave it logged in while I go for a run, and leave it dormant, see if that logs me out, or if it is just when I close the app. When you closed the app on the old ios, this didn't happen. Might write an angry and confused letter to Steve Jobs

afternoon Duncan how you today.

I'm good cheers Carlos, just about to go for a run

I found that if you don't log in it won't log you out....hope this helps xxxx

Can you test that for me for a couple of weeks pleas Kurt? x

Right solution has been arrived at!

Although Safari wasn't in private mode on the main settings, it appears that the in-browser "private" button has been knocked on at some point.

I've now knocked this off and the problem has gone.

Someone give me a step by step on this, doing my head in now.

If you bring up the bottom menu on the safari screen (I think you can either touch near the bottom, or scroll up) then click the icon that looks like two pages on top of each other.

That will bring up your open windows. The the bar with the websites name at the top of each window is dark grey and there is a dark outline around the "private" button in the bottom corner it means it is switched on.

If you press the "private" button it'll ask you if you want to keep the current windows open or close them. You'll know if its gone off as the dark bar withy the websites name goes to a light grey and the "private" button loses its border.

Pain in the arse if you don't realize its on!
