I've not seen anything from Ipswich so far that would make me worry too much. Yes, its a game that we don't want to lose, but at the same time its a game that we are very capable of winning. I rate McKenna as a coach, and I'm sure he can get the best out of his squad, but weak as our squad is in premier league terms, we have better players available to us than they do.

I'm expecting a solid defensive performance and us to take a couple of chances (preferable early on). 0-2 Everton.

I love the "recent meetings" part. This will give Sky Sports the excuse to trot out the static "Everton haven't won at Portman road for 29 years!". Neglecting to mention that we have played there twice since 1995.

Anyway, we need to be beating these. They have some decent players though and i'm sure their fans will be thinking that its a great chance to get their first win of the season.

Hopefully Ndaiye is able to play.

They were really good in the Villa game I thought. Could've easily scored more than two goals that day. I know Villa had one eye on the Bayern Munich game but they've still started the season well and beaten most of the bottom half teams they've played.

Been exposed away from home so far but that is away from home. Ultimately any newly promoted team needs to get something going at home. It's the way Forest survived in 22/23. They secured 30 points at the City Ground and only 8 away. Last season Sheffield, Burnley and ahem Luton all failed dismally to build any momentum at home despite the odd decent win.

It's a game I'd feel far more confident of winning with Branthwaite playing as think Tarks-Keane will struggle against Delap and the other pacy players they have.
