Is North America now the biggest hotbed for football talent after Europe?

Yes it is true, America, Canada and the like still have a long way to go before they can even hit the levels of talent from South America
But did you actually read the post? If we look at the U23 talent from USA/Canada and compare it with the South American talent, it's fair to say that North American youth talent as of 2021 is actually better on paper? South America isn't producing talent like it once did. German teams now buy a lot of American/Canadian talent.

As someone who wishes this was true. It's not even close. Have you seen what happens when the US or Mexico plays Argentina in the last 5 years or whatever?

They get destroyed. It's not even close.

You've got a certain view point that I can't quite put my finger on. It's almost just contrarian for being the point of contrarian. The OP that is

Anyways, it cause you just to make clearly wrong observations like this on the regular.
I mean Argentina have been riding on their aging talent such as Messi, Aguero, Mascherano for so long now so it makes sense why Argentina have been able to beat USA so often the last 5 years. But what's gonna happen when Messi and co have to retire? It's not going to be same as before when they aren't producing the same talents anymore.

South America is and forever will be the hotbed, North America is improving but until the national sides at all levels are in a position to be competitive at World Cups/Olympics/Youth tournaments then they can’t compare in my opinion

It's because the English are the punching bag of real football nations. This bothers some of them so they gotta punch down. Because you know, like even Greece has won a trophy since 66.
Well seeing as America were knocked out of the World Cup last time by Panama who were a pub team that got smashed then I'd hush about the side you follow.

Don't think that has much to do with it. Majority of (UK) folks here don't give a rat's arse about the England team.

Fair enough. I agree with that. That's why I said some. I think the north American teams are generally crap too but your comment was rather hyperbolic
