I think the worst bit is that at least with Benitez I felt that there was the chance of redemption by sacking him and appointing someone decent. That didn't happen. Short term fix at least raised the general mood.

I feel we are stuck in a rut with Dyche. I do not trust the current board to make agood appointment (based on the last few), we're skint, and i suspect nothing changes until the takeover happens. Which is no guarantee of improvement. Having said that, I don't think Dyche is a bad person and will not destroy use from within like el Gordo.

Someone give me a dose of positivity please?

The club need to stop employing BS managers and employ proper coaches/managers....

Out of work coaches managers include :-

Graham Potter
Antonio Conte
Ralph Hassenhuttl
Julen Lopetegui
Zinédine Zidane
Laurent Blanc
André Villas-Boas
Christophe Galtier
Julian Nagelsmann
Joachim Low
Hansi Flick
Vítor Pereira
Jesse Marsch
Lucien Favre
Igor Tudor
Gennaro Gattuso
plus many many more I couldn`t be bothered to type

For me though, the dream will always be a serial winner with an attacking philosophy......

Lopetegui did a half decent job - but resigned under financial constraints so I assume he wouldn't come.

I'll say it now that I think Potter benefitted heavily from Brightons structure - which De Zerbi is doing even more with now.

We now have Onana, Beto, Garner,Tarkowski, and in favour Branthwaite and a fit DCL. He hasn't got a clue how to set them up. Mike Walker was a god compared to this bloke.

Mike Walker literally sat on his arse in his office all day laughing to himself that he got this job.

Didn't have a clue and wasn't a football manager in any way. Luckiest guy in football at the time.

I'm not a Dyche fan and don't think he'll be here in a year or two but it's pretty obvious he gives everything. Definitely puts in the 'hard yards'.

It doesn't get any worse than Walker.

Depends what you mean by worse.

In terms of mood/poison/toxicity across the club then no. Nothing will be worse than Benitez and what he brought to the club.

In terms of results and actual direction of the club, then yes, somehow Dyche is doing worse.

Even over the last few seasons, I don’t think I’ve genuinely felt we were going to be relegated, I accepted there was a high chance of it last season, but didn’t genuinely feel we would be. I already have a sinking feeling we are pretty destined for it this season.

Benitez set us up for defeat and we got beat. He also sold 2 of our best players, and replaced them with Gray and Mykolenko.

At least Dyche isn’t setting us up with 5 at the back every game. I’m still team Dyche as I still feel he is lacking the backing and if it was his choice he would of replaced both left and right backs and signed another midfielder but his hands are obviously tied.

But he needs to sort it out and fast.
I think he’s got the next 3 games to do that. Less than 5 points from those and it’s panic stations.

Well yes, but are you saying you wouldn’t fancy seeing one or two of those names here?
any list can produce some good looking names the problem is getting them to join he mad house and weather they can turn water in to wine because watching that on Sunday thats going to be the minimum requirement this season

Think I've accepted it 3 times now, heh.

Hopefully I'm wrong again - but yeah I'm not convinced Dyche and Kev have got this and with Moshiri publically trying to find his way out then I don't really see who is going to galvanise the club at the organisation level.

Maybe 777 will get their bargain relegated club.

Although our players are poor quality, I still think there's enough there to end the season above Luton, Burnley and Sheff Utd.
Trouble is they need the correct coaching to perform at that level, and unfortunately it doesn't look as though Dyche is capable of that.
