Transfer Rumour Isco

….he only left RM last Spring. He looks more about quality than he does about physicality and athleticism. Quality tends to survive. I don’t see any reason not to hire him for a few months.
Yeah but he's also never been fast or that athletic, at 30 and post many injuries he's a slug (in Prem quality and what we're trying to do).

Granted, it's Everton and someone who's past it and 30, so we'll sign him up on 100k+ a week anyway, but that's my 2 pennies worth lol

….you made the same point as me in that he’s all about quality than athleticism. Don’t get hung up on salary if it’s a short-term fix, he could give the place a lift.

I think he’d end up being like Villa signing Couthino, we’d probably be looking to get rid of him after 12 months and struggle to get any takers

I said this on the transfer thread but while he doesn’t immediately strike me as a Dyche signing, he may very well look at the squad and see a lack of creative options who can turn a game or break down a side who are sitting in.

The last game went exactly to plan, but if Arsenal had opened the scoring what options did we have to really change the game in response? And it’s fine playing defend and counter against the league leaders but what to do when the onus is more on us if other teams sit in? You have to be able to change the plan and Isco for, say, Doucoure would be a good option to have.

He`s the most un Dyche player on the planet and as @matty1878 says, it`s from that renowned bastion of truth, the Echo.
Its not even from The Echo.

Its from Tribal football.

According to journalist Rudy Galetti, for Tribal Football, Everton are in talks to sign Isco on a free transfer. It has been claimed that the Blues are scheduling a meeting to advance the negotiations over a deal to bring the 30-year-old to Goodison Park.

Prior to the links with joining Everton, Isco was all set to move to Germany and sign for Union Berlin. However, the deal fell through on deadline day, leading to links that the player could end up on Merseyside instead.
