Italy v Paraguay

I was at the Cheshire Oaks shopping village twice last week. Isn't that close to you ghost?
There were a variety of restaurants, from Italian, Chinese, Greek, Mexican etc. We had a look in most of them before settling for the Mexican.
The food was ok, but nothing fancy at all, and I ordered Chile Con Carne with chips, and it came in a bowl, with the chile poured over the top of the chips. I could have made that at home instead of paying nearly a tenner for it. A bit of a let down.

I didn't think much of the other restaurants either to be honest. We went into the Italian first, but it was nearly 5 minutes before anyone greeted us, and then they said that the area with comfortable chairs was closed.

I blame it all on slave labour, where these companies are paying kids, who have no experience in customer service, buttons for wages.

1 - 1 now.

Tell you what though, Gabby Logan woudn't have to beg me to sort her out and no mistake.

She can come across a bit masculine sometimes, but this is a good 'feminine' picture of her:

Terrible 1st half perfromance, very pleased with the 2nd.

Typical that De Rossi has to save Italy again.
And ffs Gilardino is useless!

I agree, typical Italians. They are good at falling into [Poor language removed] holes and climbing out of it, just like a soap opera.
Hi BlueTak. Great to find another Azzuri fan in this forum, it's rare I guess.
This group will be decided by goal difference. Not surprise if Italy finish 2nd.

I imagine that it will be down to who scores more, us or paraguay and if we keep Gilardino up top, we probably will finish 2nd and if we do, we'll likely face Holland.

Italy are notoriously famous at messing up at group stage, I'm not all concern about it. They are a team that is so well suited for the knock out phase. Contain and counter is their style and I think Holland will have a tough time against them.
I can see the commitment and passion in this team like I see four years ago. The only difference is a little short of quality. Totti and Pirlo are too massive to replace. I've seen very poor Italian teams that fumbles at the group stage over the years, the team they have this year are not as bad as those.

I hate this team. Dirty, cleats up, I hope that they fold like a cheap Italian suit. Hated them four years ago and still do. Rambo soccer.

FFS, Mick McCarthy is co-commentating:

"The Paraguayan lads aren't goin' t' like this weather it's reet parky I can tell thee. Get yer chuffin' mitts on t'amigos"

I listened to the commentary on 5 live and missed that awful droning noise, the vuvuzela's also seemed a little quieter.
