So why are we trying to get every player on loan. V.Love, Milito an others. Why would we bid 12m for Moutinho when every one knows he's world class an worth the 18m price tag. Even then it was about 4m down an the rest over the contract length.

It's an assumption that I doubt very much is true. It's probably the reality that a decent chunk of the Sky money has been used to cover expenses.
