Next week will tells us about our manager. If he doesn't change things after that display, then really there is no hope.

I don't really agree. We battered Villa but lacked one element. We matched Man U and really showed fighting spirit and belief, but have lacked all of that today.
Basically what Everton do is show that they have the minerals, but then don't do anything with it. Like a kid who comes out with an ace new footy but refuses to let us play with it incase it gets damaged. Do you know what I mean?
Were that Ferrari in Ferris Bueller, except its red.

We should have gotten battered by Utd. It was luck and not fighting spirit that got us the draw IMO.
I agree with you, but Moyes has to be held responsible for two reasons.
1.) The manager is in charge. If a business bombs, a cutomer gets foodsick at a restaurant or yes, if your team is doing crap, then the manager's in the firing line. They have to be.
2.) He keeps playing everyone out of position. He's taking no risks, playing defensive minded players, in a defensive minded formation... against a team who were in the second tier least season... at home... when we need a win.
He must be a masochist. Or demented. Or both.

Well that's where your wrong then mate because the stats will show you we matched them all the way. They didn't score goals because they were unlucky, like us. It was poor finishing, just like us.
Absolutely, but unfortunately Davie Moyes is beyond reproach there. We can't be seen to criticise him because of previous results. Last week was a good result, still didn't win. Villa we played well, didn't win. It's all about history with Everton fans, and history has gone, it can't be changed. This is a club that is just hanging on to it's history all the time. That thing going around the ground, all that does is say look how good we were, now come and look how [Poor language removed] we are now, even though we've got potential to be as good.

First half we dominated the game without creating that much. We dominated right up until we scored, then they took over. Lots of nice passing with no real threat up front. Every time they attacked, they could have scored. It could and should have been 5 or 6 for them. So YES i think we got lucky.
But we also had chances to score, we also had a keeper who was doing his job in saving, so I don't think we were lucky. But you believe what you want to believe.
We matched Man U, facts are facts and are not disputed. The point is today, we failed to capitalise on that feel good factor, like we always do.
If I was at school and I scored a screamer in the last minute, I know that evening I am going to score with some top chick. Then I am going to go home play some computer game and batter everyone.
But Everton do well, then [Poor language removed] themselves, and think omg, we can't be good, we can't be seen to actually have any ability, lets be crap again, it's what we do best. Comfort zone attained. mmmm, nice, like a warm duvet. Oh come on Everton, come and enjoy yourself,
No, it's scary. Don't like it.

Ghost is correct. We failed to capitalise on the back of the United game, regardless.
