I'm actually more interested in looking at the Brentford model of scouting and transfer strategy. They seem to unearth unheralded players or youth cast off from other teams and get a tune out of them. Erikson the exception.

Dare I say it, it feels Moyes-esque. Which I what we need now. A collective greater than the sum if its parts.

What probably helps Brentford os that they aren't Everton. With our reputation for spending big on any old crap.
 
Can’t see it happening mate unfortunately. I think he’s exactly what we need up front. Ignore all the negative comments BTW.
 

Besides the obvious reasons for him not joining - like being able to do a LOT better than us - he is also a big red.

Really good player but it is not happening.
