Can't stand him, but Gerrard is 100x the player Wilshere will ever be.

I always liked the lad tbh and thought he looked a top talent when he came through. But he simply hasn't progressed. Whether that's his injurys or just he doesn't have it in his locker to be top top class I don't know?

Built up as England's biggest thing but he ain't a patch on player's he's supposed to be replacing (Gerrard lampard etc) and he ain't as good as Barkley or Llanna either IMO.
