It would be extremely embarrassing for the club if there's truth in the Villa rumour. To have two players in your building in consecutive transfer windows but not to get the deals done looks pretty amateurish.

Once you can say is just bad luck and unfortunate, it's harder to make that argument the second time.

He has a relegation release clause. Any club can trigger it and Leeds have no say. After that it’s up to the player to pick the club.
