2024/25 Jack Harrison


Decent control but seems to panic on the ball. Annoyingly tries to pass through players. He keeps trying to take micro touches and waits waits waits for the defender to dive in. Maybe that works at lower level, but compared to Ndiaye who takes relatively heavy but purposeful touches, he's very ineffectual.

It's because he can't do anything else.

He can't run because he's dead slow. He can't use his right foot. He has no amount of skill to bamboozle defenders.

All he's left with is either playing it back to right back or attempting to punt a weak ball into the box, which more often than not goes straight into his defender marking him.

That one 2nd half where he had time, space, players left, player right....
Nah I'll run at the defender in front of me and cross it into his chest and see if he's a hologram

It's inexcusable and he actually done it 3 times in the space of 10 minutes.

One of the worst wingers to ever play for Everton.
 
I find it hard to believe there's not a single young player at the club who couldn't do better in the last 10 games

There's no pressure on us now, give a young lad some experience.

This fella is just going through the motions.
 
It's weird how he can look competent at left wing (the position he's made a career of playing) after over a season and a half of looking crap at right wing (a position he'd basically never played before coming here) then be picked at right wing. Moyesy got this one dead wrong.

I feel that's a bit harsh.

He obviously works hard, he's just not very good.

One of a handful of players we have who play most weeks and bar a few moments of quality let us down to varying degrees most weeks.
