2024/25 Jack Harrison

I mean, he’s played 159 PL games over the last 5 years so that seems like a bit of a nonsensical statement. He’s an average PL player, but suggesting he’s isn’t good enough to play PL football is a bit of an embarrassing shout when you think about it.

Fair enough.

Can never fault his work rate or attitude, he just doesn’t have the quality to be an Everton player.

Fixed.

He’s terrible, we are a much weaker team with him in it.
I think "terrible" is a little unfair. We have had far, far worse players than Harrison down the years.

I'd say he's an average winger and I understand why, in the situation we've been in, we've done the deal to bring him here on what is effectively a free loan (other than his wages).

However, in the summer it's very much a case of shake hands and part ways. He isn't someone who's going to improve us.

I've been his biggest critic and I don't think he's good enough for us but to be fair I thought he did OK last night. Worked hard and linked up well. Another player who's improved under Moyes.
I agree not on the 1st team sheet, good cover at the moment. Has made a massive improvement now playing on the left under Moyes instead of 2nd right back under Dyche.

Im not sure wingers who beat the fullback and whip crosses in exist as much as they used to. Esp with many sides now playing a lone forward.
Its about shape hard work and contributing to team ethic. I think Harrison along with lindstrom are fitting into Moyes team ethic. Both have improved under Moyes and while the team are getting results i can see the benefits.
Gotta walk before you can run and the target was to get wins and points on the board. Harrison and lindstrom have done that imo.

I think the lad is a hardworking average footballer, who lost all confidence under Dyche.
He looks better under Moyes, but still doesn't give much outside of effort and I can't see us buying him in the summer.
Leeds will value his experience if they get back up, and it won't take much for us to replace him.

Think his first game under moyes was impressive. And I don't like him. Was willing to give him a chance under moyes based on the first performance. Still kinda am. But might be slowly reverting back to type. Although still better.

He’s registered 0 goals and assists, working hard shouldn’t be a metric on if our forward players are good enough. I’d rather have a player that doesn’t work as hard but creates a lot more output. Truth is, he breaks down a load of our attacks cos he runs down blind alleys, we’re massively worse when he comes into the side in comparison to McNeil and Ndaiye.

He needs to go somewhere else in the summer, we’d be stupid to sign him.

I'd have taken any of Brentfords front 3 over Harrison and lindstrom, both need sending back and upgrading so mcneil is back up to ndiaye plus another or 2
