Lets put things into perspective here, if Gerrard got cancer, of course he would still be a cheating tw#t but no one would wish the lad to get the disease if they had any common decency about there persona. Jade Goody is barracked for her antics on BB yet she never uttered one single racist comment towards Shilpa Shetty. Danielle Lloyd stated "F Off Home" amongst other quotes yet her career has blossomed. Jermaine Jackson quoted the white race as "White Trash". If those two got cancer, would you feel anything for them? Cancer affects one in three people, and i dont wish it on anyone unless they are real evil bastards, ie murderers etc.

Spot on Steevie,she might have made a lot of cash but good luck to her the media made her and to show no sympathy to a mother knowing she will leave her young children behind is frankly disgusting

Dunno about my felings on her personally , she's a fool , with no education , but one who loves her children dearly . As for her impending treatment , I'm awaiting a course of a similar , tho less nasty than Chemo itself . It does however , make your hair all out , etc . In truth , my arse has gone .Totally gone . So , I dread to think what a Mother with a young family would feel . I hope she beats it for the kids alone . L.C.A.B.

I'll apologise now if anyone is offended by my comments, but my opinion of her will not change.

If the media werent so ridiculous to give her the career she doesnt deserve, we wouldnt know who she is or how her health is anyway.

That just about sums up why i think people who have such harsh views of her are so ridiculous.

I don't read the papers her story is in. I don't read the magazines that feature her heavily. I don't watch the tv programs she is in (well sometimes i do but i dont go out of my way to do so, and i certainly havent seen or read anything to suggest she is vermin or derserves cancer as some kind of karma).

If Jade Goody is all over the media thats because the media can make money out of her and because the people who want to see and read about her pay good money to do so.

Fine maybe she exploits them back to make herself money. If she does then good luck to her, wish i could get the amount of money she has for exploiting the media. And none of that changes the fact she is only making money herself because she was given the chance to do so by the media.

The media are the real vermin here. Not some girl none of you actually know.

Envy and jealousy, I think some people should have a look in the mirror or get some perspective.

I'm not saying anyone has to like the girl, but whats the point in going to the trouble of typing in a imo 'inhumane' response.

Its not clever and shows a bit of immaturity, personally speaking as someone who has lost somebody recently to pancreatic cancer, I dont believe anybody who is a balanced individual or who has any real experience of cancer or watching a loved one have cancer, would have anything but a tiny bit of sympathy of jade goody, or her kids at least, regardless of what she has done in the past!

I really dont understand the mentality of some of the responses on here and other forums that have a thread about jade and some people revelling in whats happened to her.

I don't like her either, but having seen a friend's mother lose her battle with cancer, I certainly wouldn't wish it on anyone else, regardless as to whether I liked them or not.

This isn't the Cancer Research UK forum. Alot of people that post on football forums simply don't have the empathy/intelligence to restrain themselves or they just say things for a laugh.

I don't have an opinion on the matter myself.
