He isn't exactly a promising academy player though, he will be looking at first-team football in a position where we need strengthening.

This is such a strange way of looking at it. We have no idea whats on offer to the player and agent or what each teams plans for them would be or whether he has any affiliation to London at all seeing as he moved away 6 years ago he'll choose whoever he chooses for his own reasons.

Disheartening that even a club like Palace will be just as attractive as EFC at present time. I believe a theme for this summer will be having trouble bringing in players who have competition for their signature.

Fans underestimate how big a pull BMD will be in not only increasing the clubs profile in the media, but the world class facilities etc. attracting players ahead of other clubs like Palace, Brighton etc.

You’d hope when we approach players…you sell them the new owners of Roma buying us, the new ground…sell the whole package
