2024/25 Jake O'Brien

Named on the bench though as defensive cover for championship players, proof if any was needed that he should be starting up front for a premier league team and it's all Dyche's fault.
I guess time will tell, I don't think a managers decisions can be relied upon as a gauge of a players ability. We've seen that many times over the years with a few managers employed by Everton.

He should be starting ahead of Keane though mate, Christ I'd put Ashley Young at centre back over the 50p head.
I'm on record voicing my disappointment at us spending dough on a CB that is behind Keane in the pecking order. Using a place on the bench of the worst Irish side in history to make that point however is absurd.

If folk are going to put forward arguments against Dyche then they do a huge disservice to themselves with that kind of tosh. We are 0 and 3, it's not like we need bedwetters to make stuff up for ammunition!

Bedwetters will find anything they can you know this. I thought Jake looked good in pre season, putting the price tag to one side I'd like to see youth given a chance over the same old crap from Keane, it feels like career suicide to select him.

I haven't seen anything other than the Bournemouth game to be honest.

But Keane is defo a blindspot in the managers eyes, even if he recognised Mina and Brainthwaite are better, he still trusts Keane far more than he should.
