2024/25 Jake O'Brien

Don’t know what game some saw ? He chased the winger down and looked quick to me ! New team playing right back ! Looks comfortable on the ball ! Like the way he brought the fella down rather than letting past him and was up top playing like a wing back ! Good showing I thought ! There was nothing negative from him ?

Hard to tell looked like had good feet and can play abit, never like seeing a big cb played on the right can be exposed by pace more easily. If jb is out injured would put him in next game for me.
If premier league experience is a requirement to play so to should positional experience.

He's went from not PL ready to playing centre back and right back in said league.

Think more is him having a conection with his other cb, is why i would have left him in from the roma game when keane was out injured. We will never kno if it could have worked him and tark at the back and then maybe would have been hard from branthwaite to get back in. Same again with dixon should have been left in after spurs another playet who maybe could have impressed and made starting rb position his own. Is really frustrating seeing dycye just ignoring the defence when it has looked so weak

O Brien and Dixon need to start against Southampton. May give us some physicality and pace, across the back 4.

I suspect both O’Brien and Dixon will get a good run out against Southampton, and if they don’t cock it up, will be in the side against Leicester on Saturday.
