2024/25 James Garner

Bracewell was far far more than a grafter. That pass for Trevor Stevens goal against Sunderland is still possibly one of the best passes ive seen at Goodison.
You might not have meant it to come over like that but a "grafter" could just be describing robbie savage. Not a title winning midfielder who could really play.
Yeah! How good was Bracewell that season and before his injury very underrated.

Think he's shown what he is at this point and that's a bottom half midfielder at his best. He's as bad as Mccarthy was for just passing sideways and being completely passive in possesion, though Mccarthy at least covered more ground.

Hes yet another in a long line of Everton signings sold to us on the premise that they're good at set pieces only for that skill to completely abandon them once they get here.

I also thought he was quieter than usual yesterday but...

The way Potter set up his side it was difficult for any of the central players to make an Impact. Out of possession they essentially played a 5 a the back in a low block. It was actually a really poor game of football to watch because of this.

I really like Garner. I think he’s a steady Eddie and with better players around him he himself will only get better. But certainly not his best game

Used to bang free kicks in for fun for Forest and was known as a general set piece expert. No idea what's happened to him to lose all of that ability. Dyche was bad but he's not the reason.

Would very much like to see him make an attacking impact on the team very soon. Can count on one finger the number of inspirational passes he's made during his Everton career... one through ball assist for Beto. So he can do it, but doesn't.
