Looking from the back camera @Blast_of_Cannock it's actually proper crap goalkeeping as he gets a full hand to it.

I always thought it whizzed straight into the top bin. Still a great strike though.

Yeah, watching it again it looks much nearer the goal than I remember. And it wasn't a great attempt from the keeper. Nostalgia ay, not what it used to be.

I quite liked McFadden but always felt he could produce that little bit more, he was certainly capable of moments of brilliance but unfortunately not consistently. Also not even sure what his most effective position was, he seemed to get played off the left a lot but preferred to be centre forward.

Getting himself sent off for swearing at the referee in a league cup tie v Arsenal early in the game making a hard game to win very hard indeed!

Helped put pressure on graham liverpoll to quit refereeing. Deserves a statue and state funeral just for this.
