Transfer Rumour James Rodriguez

How's not scoring again comparable to not playing again? It's not insane logic; assuming a player will score X amount of goals is insane logic.

Because both outcomes are extremely unlikely.

If Ings has 14 goals in 24 games this season, it's not unthinkable to think he'll score 6 or more in the 19+ games that remain.

I sort of feel the same way about Rodriquez as I did about Ibrahimovic (When it seemed like we had a slight chance to sign him)

A vanity signing that flies in the face of actually progressing the club by signing young potential worldbeaters

Would rather spend whatever money on Reinier Jesus (or somebody of that ilk)

It's not unthinkable but doesn't mean it's going to happen.

I don't really get it, your account is almost 4 years old but I'm only just not working out you're a moron. Have you only just started posting or something?

Carlo said today he hasn’t discussed any new players and won’t until after the derby so I think this is media mischief making.
Ancelotti is no fool. Behind the scenes he’ll have already sounded out to Brands who he wants. I’m sure contact has been made with agents of our targets already, but he’ll only recruit them after this weekend’s game against the RS.

Tbh, someone saying he’d rather Ings than Hamez isn’t really that much of a stretch. We all know who’s got the pedigree, we all know about Hamez’ silky skills. Which one would be the more beneficial to us? I don’t think the answer is as cut and dried as some make out.

They’re both similar age, both proven to be injury prone, but Rodriguez is twice the player of Ings (at least). That’s without taking into account the fact that you are a bit of a helmet anyway.

All the best anyway x.

If you add Ings into this side right now and Rodriguez into this side, right now, I firmly believe the former would have the greater, immediate positive impact - because he's a goalscorer.

As I said, if given the money, I wouldn't go for either. I just don't think Rodriguez is a good option, at all. And it appears many others completely agree.

Sorry you feel that way, bud.

We’ve already got a player scoring goals who is 22 and doesn’t have wet bog roll for ligaments.

Remember thinking how good Michael Keane looked in that team. Different types of players obviously but you're right we should be looking at attracting better players.

I understand that you can pluck out an Andy Robinson out of a smaller team but the odds of them becoming world beaters are so slim.

We need to get the monopoly money out if we want to win trophies.

michael Keane was playing in a back four that defended. His full backs always stay back (like Burnley’s do still) and he never got dragged wide or exposed. We have attackingfull backs so naturally he’s shown his level.

big no toMcNeill. Burnley fan who is very knowledgable says he is in and out and while he shows some talent, he’s not good enough for top sides.

I completely agree, but given we'll likely be playing 4-4-2, another goalscorer wouldn't hurt.

Again, I didn't suggest Ings. I don't want Ings. I just don't want any players with wet bog roll for ligaments - including HAMETH.
