Agreed but would add baines and cahill to that class imo

Personally don't think Cahill is even close to Kanchelskis,don't think anyone as got close to him if am honest.

You can’t fault Baines or Cahill for sustained contribution to the team. They are modern Everton greats, no doubt.

But Kanchelskis was like burning magnesium. Absolutely other-level brilliant, one of the very best players in the league, then he was gone.

Interesting if the idea is to play Rodriguez in a midfield 3 next to Doucouré with Allan sweeping up behind them.

If it works, I think it’s my favourite idea, especially if we can still bring in a pacey Right Winger.

Totally agree. It's not about the stats, it's the potential he has for making everyone else play better by just moving the ball into the correct space at the correct time.

I watched that mid 80’s team win the league and I felt privileged, Andrei was pretty much the only player since that I felt had the right to be spoken of in the same breath I genuinely loved him . The performance that day at Wednesday was just electric , he might have scored the hat trick but I’m sure he made the other two as well , I’ll use the word again it was a privilege to watch him .

I was at that SWFC match, it was the finest solo performance I have ever witnessed. I remember the whole stadium giving him a standing ovation.
