I think all the other links were probably only thinking about the negotiations while Phil K seems to be looking at it more from the club's finances perspective.
Just a matter of compromise now.

I expected bad news Phil to piss on our chips quite a bit more than he actually did there.

The good news is, we’re after him and he wants to come. The bad news is we’re never paying him £200k p/w, certainly not whilst the likes of Bolasie, Tosun and Sandro clog up our wage bill. Hell, you could even bin off Gylf and Bernard for the price of a James and have a bit left over.

Suspect if we’re after him permanently he’d take a bit of a cut though.

Difficult not to get angry and Koeman, Walsh, and to a lesser extent fat Sam.
