I agree that Sigurdsson shouldn't be number 10, but apparently, 19 was James number at his very 1st professional team, so maybe he picked it himself:



I think maybe taking Sigurdssons number away potentially devalues him if we are looking to sell, strengthens the hand of the buyer. We could claim he is still a part of our plans, even though I don't believe for 1 minute that Ancelotti or Brands see him having a long term future here.
