I don't think you can target just one player in this team now. We have balance and threat all over the pitch. You just free up space for others, and James is difficult to track as he drifts around the pitch. If they play a high line they will get destroyed. Villa got in behind them over and over and over again, as did Leeds and Arsenal at the pit.
Fingers crossed this could actually be a perfect game for us...
We've seen already that one of our main threats is james ability to spot runners and his effortless switch of play...

Won’t be the first game he’s played when the opposition will try to take him out. That horrible kopite Cresswell at West Ham tried to boot him all game but James just made a fool of him. First time in a while we've had a player that they won't be able to bully mentally. Rooney was one as well to be fair but he had no legs by that time. Hope he inspires the rest of the team to stand up to them.

Massive test for him today but quality players rise to the challenge. The good thing for me is that if they do target James, we´ve got other players that can exploit the space they´ll leave.

I don't expect us to be so gung-ho today though. Carlo said he expects the goal fests to dry up, so I think he will be aware that they can spring us as much as we can exploit their mistakes.
