I cant dig the boy out that much tonight, I mean at 31 years old hes been asked to play as a number 9, in the hardest league in the world, but God he was bad.

Worked hard and was brilliant tonight.

They way he can keep the ball, keep the possession and play moving is world class. Calms everyone down and gives confidence when one of your players wants and can keep the ball all the time.

When he gets up to speed, he is some player. Just need a few more lads around him who make intelligent runs and movements off the ball. His link up with Digne is incredible at times, it'd take us up a level to have someone down the other flank finding the same space.

From the day he signed I have been so happy that such a gifted footballer plays for Everton.

For pure football ability a close second to the Golden Vision in all the players I have seen in royal blue over the past 60 years or so.

I've no idea how long it will last, but, let's enjoy him while he is here.
