Thought him and Sigurdsson our best players tonight, dovetailed so well together, lost count of the amount of times they looked to pass to each other. Tom and Allan won the midfield battle, Digne, Coleman and Godfrey also played well. King done okay and so did Ritchie, but never had his shooting boots on tonight.

Pleased he stayed in it right to the end, whether it’s fitness or niggling injuries I don’t recall to many times when he’s been on it for a full 90mins without needing to come off or drifting out of it.

Someone needs to clip up that performance.

The quality of his passes and ability to still deliver a perfect ball off balance is incredible.

Again, unlucky not to be on the winning side, but I think he will be a lot more next season, with Everton.

Agreed. If he, Allan and Doucoure had been able to play every game this season we’d be in the top 4.
