technically world class, physically non league. less than non league
So concentrate on his strengths not his weaknesses?
It's like the Dom thing. We know he's a brilliant poacher, so play to those strengths.

I just think he's completely wrong for us under Benitez. Even off the bench against a stubborn team protecting what they have his lack of ground coverage will be seriously exploited, as we all know it can be.
The next statement he makes on social media that undermines us or diminishes us wont be too far away. It;s in him to do that. He doesn't give a shiny one about us. All he'll achieve - and you can see that already on this thread post transfer window - is to create a rallying point for anti-Benitez sentiment...that's the reason these lads are backing him, just because they cant stand Benitez, because they know in their hearts that James is out for an utter piss take.
I say sideline him and forget him the moment that social media presence of his churns out the next disrespectful BS.
There's also the very real problem of his lack of game time. The disruption that brings to a team is something we can also ill afford. The club told him in July that we wanted to move him on.
He clearly wanted to leave too - but you know, it's a two-way thing David.
It hasn't happened, so we use him and play him because he's very good, and has quality nobody in the league out of the very top players possess.
He doesn't have physicality, but not every game is won with pace and sheer energy. If it was, Leeds would never lose again.
So get behind him and the squad because if we integrate him he's a bloody fantastic option to have.
If Benitez shuns him and results start going against us, especially through a lack of creativity/goals, he (Benitez) will be for a rough ride.I just think he's completely wrong for us under Benitez. I'm pleased because he's a good player and I want good players in our squad. When I look to the bench and we've got 8 players on, two of them being goalkeepers, I'm not arrogant enough to think James Rodriguez being in that squad doesn't improve us.There's also the very real problem of his lack of game time. We all have to accept he's here now. Some will be pleased because it's a stick to beat Benitez with, some will be genuinely hopeful he can prove he has the discipline to go with the talent, some (me in this cartegory) who cant stand the circus surrounding him and are dreading the inevitable blow up and affect it'll have on team morale.
It was a minor disaster not getting him a club this summer.
hopefully so, we know what he can do. just depends on his attitude.....does he want it etcSo concentrate on his strengths not his weaknesses?

Mate, to me if I was manager I'd be running a mile away from offering a player who doesn't fit my profile and can ignite pockets of resentment against me a place in my team. Our paucity of options will result in a spot on the bench. If everyone is fit the bench is probably looking like:
Begovic, Holgate Keane Gbamin Delph Iwobi Gordon James Rondon
We haven’t really got anyone else in the attacking third to throw on unless he turns to a complete wild card. Tbh that’s a far more balanced bench than we’ve had for a long time.

When the inevitable injuries & suspensions kick in and the team starts to falter the manager & dof's heads will be on the chopping block ,as it has been for for the last 20 years, rinse & repeat. As said, Benitez has been asked to plait sawdust.
That manager deserves to be supported by the fans if he hasn't been by his employers.
Gordon will be nowhere near it I don't think. Our paucity of options will result in a spot on the bench. If everyone is fit the bench is probably looking like:

This club needs an enema.
