Yeah, far better to just have an unfilled position on the bench than have our highest earner and best passer of a football there.

No FB. What's weird, and also now worrying, is that the manager is more arsed about this fellah than the club itself.

His ego and arrogance have left the club totally bereft of an experienced forward player on the bench.

Speechless here that anybody is supporting him in this.

Not bringing James back is understandable. He’s a player that couldn’t be bothered to play last season when it got cold and wet. Too tired to even turn up for uncle Carlo.

So, surely Benitez needs to stick with the players who have been putting in a shift and trying to work hard. If I was one of those and was dropped in favour of a prima donna who didn’t want to be at this club anyway and who probably now only wants to play in order to showcase his talents to gain a move elsewhere, is going to hurt the spirit in the team.

James may well be the most gifted player to wear our shirt for many years, but an Evertonian he is not.

Understandable?

Going into a game with your 2 best strikers out. The one we are starting is clearly unfit and the one attacking player on the bench is a kid who only started training after 4 month injury last week. We have only named 8 subs.

James had a full preseason and has trained normally for the last 4 weeks. But the manager won't even put him on the bench. And you think that's understandable.
