100% this. Brands and Moshiri have put us in this position. Questions need answering as to how this has been allowed to happen, and why our DOF was rewarded with a new contract for it.

That's my frustration with all of this mate, and always has been. What it says about the club and how it's been run.

Did find Benitez's comments about James only being available 50% of the time (while true, like) a bit grating when I then realised we've got Gbamin and Delph and Tosun all on the books like. Appreciate Gbamin has been hugely unlucky but I think don't think Delph has managed 30 games in 2 years and the less said about Tosun the better.

It's just infuriating.

James is a very easy & complicated issue. When you had a player in the situation that we had, who could be available for just 50% of games overall, it's not something we can manage... We have to think about the season, not just two or three games
It's not easy to find good offers when you want. You have to manage the offers when they are there. We couldn't find the right ones before. It's the right one for him... We have to ensure the long-term future of the club is protected


Enough said.
