2 times he's had to back track and clarify what he meant, firstly when he made out like he was unloved and was being forced to stay away only for the manager to confirm he was self isolating which he then came out and confirmed himself and that was in fact why he wasn't training.
And then the Atletico motto he tweeted which he then clarified he wasn't aware was their fighting motto despite living in Madrid for what... 10 years? The guy isn't stupid, he's a global brand and he knows exactly what he's saying and the coverage it will get. I fully expect another statement from him later clarifying that what he meant was he know's who we are playing but he meant he doesn't know any Leeds players or something like that.

Indeed very true. Its a systematic attack on the club with the goal of belittling us. I think most can see through it but it seems a few are fooled by the 'lost in translation'.

Heres an idea if things keep getting lost in translation why doesn't he stop talking rubbish about the club on social media?

Another player who came here for a pay day under Ancelotti. Regardless of his salary, we offered him a chance to redeem his career but bringing in players who are world superstars has its drawbacks. Similar thing with Eto'o and Lukaku. Players who believe they are bigger than the club will only result in rifts and disharmony. This is why I'm happy with signing Townsend and Gray, players who will work hard and feel privileged to play for the club. We have to get out of the habit of signing players not suited to us.

I think you are right. The only hope Rodriguez has is for Uncle Carlo to come and save him but Madrid will not take him back

Circa £200k a week for someone who never plays a full season and get tired very easily.
Won't be a queue of clubs wanting him and he certainly won't be looking to take a pay cut.
I agree, I think he'll stay, if he does, he needs to buckle down and keep his trap shut

I don't think Lukaku should be classed in the same category as James and Eto'o when it comes to rifts
