I hate Benitez and he was an absolutely awful manager for us but we got rid of James because we couldn’t afford him and even failed psr twice in a row even selling James when we did

I loved watching us that season, he was brilliant to watch and things just felt like they were getting good for us

He was one of those players you could instantly see he was better than what we already had on his debut at Spurs. Touch , vision, quality passing. Gutted how it’s all turned out. I was hoping Carlo would be a start of seeing us stop acting small time and over time the club itself would significantly change for the better and be a big club rather than saying we are one.
