We were about to break and the new player getting a 'taste of the league' gave West Ham an excuse to stop the game.

If the ref had played on we'd have had a very good chance to get down to their goal.

Tarkowski has really developed a fine understanding with Branthwaite and his teamwork with Patterson was nice to see.

Need to keep this back four.

What a difference a month makes.

I've never seen him more vocal than yesterday , right in the thick of it for any contentious decisions all over the pitch.

There's a few sore shins in East London today & the ref's ears still ringing.

Propper Captain/ Leader's performance.

Indeed. I think my post was after Luton.

Needs to be the same at Goodison/when things aren't going well.
 

Will be looked back on as a fantastic signing. Not just for his performances and calmness, but turning Branthwaite into a PL starter alongside this man is perfection. Imagine him learning his trade alongside Keane/Godfrey/Holgate.
